Presenting the Captain Christopher S. Cash Memorial Scholarship Gift

On Saturday, February 24th, 2007 Kaylee M. Godan of Old Orchard Beach, ME was presented the Christopher Scott Cash Memorial Scholarship gift of $1,500.00. The gift was presented at a family dinner in Kaylee’s honor at the home of Mrs. Nancy L. Kelley of Old Orchard Beach, Captain Christopher S. Cash’s mother. Also present for the awarding of the gift were Christopher S. Cash Jr. and Mathew S. Cash of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Captain Christopher S. Cash’s two sons, their mother Mrs. Samantha Cheatham and sister Ms. Sophia Cheatham.

Kaylee is attending Husson College in Bangor, Maine.

Each year the proceeds of the Captain Christopher S. Cash Memorial 5K Run and 2.5 mile Walk help to fund the Scholarship in Chris’s name.

This years Memorial Family Race Day will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, 2007.
